This is a movie of our traditional Black History Month / Civil Rights Concert. This concert is always held on the stage of the SBVC Auditorium and is always held on the last Friday evening of February. This year we are presenting it later in the year because of video & audio issues. The performances and presentations are by students in Voci Soli (our premiere choral ensemble on campus) and by our Theatrical Music Workshop Class. The students are all from Professor Madeleine Matie Manning Scully's classes and she is the director of the virtual ensemble as well as the producer of this movie. Professor, Dr. Chris Berry, is the technical advisor and overseer of how this movie was put together. The students & I are very grateful to him for his marvelous teaching of the audio & video technology involved. This project would NOT have been possible without his teaching! The narration is by Madeleine Scully. (Editor's note: This was my first experience with Virtual Choirs as well as Video & Audio editing.)
